We are one of the original certified Universal Laser Systems, Inc. channel partners and have been representing Universal Laser Systems (ULS) for nearly 30-years. We also represent other laser system manufacturers as well. All laser systems we represent are proudly made in the U.S.A.

Laser System Replacement Parts and Service for Universal Laser Systems:
We carry over $100K in Universal Laser Systems, Inc. OEM replacement parts. If you new replacement optics, wheels, belts, idler pulleys, drive gears, motors, sensors, etc. we can ship same-day in most cases. Please call for replacement part pricing: 208-442-0755. We ship parts worldwide, so feel free to call or send us a message with replacement parts you need.
If you need a replacement Universal Laser Systems laser cartridge, we can take care of all the paperwork and have a replacement shipped as soon as possible, normally within a couple days.
Your laser system needs serviced regularly, typically every 1-2 years. We offer laser service calls throughout Idaho and the surrounding states such as, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. We strive to offer shared trips whenever possible to help save customers on travel expenses.

Here's a Brief History How Highlight Technologies, Inc. Started!
Our Background:
1980’s…The owner, Ron Blake, started in laser materials processing in 1982 (Nearly 40-years ago) when he worked as an Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Denver, Colorado. He become nationally recognized in the field and published a number of technical papers on the subject. When Mr. Blake advanced to Chief Engineer of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Department, he decided to start his laser business and left the corporate world in 1993.
1990’s…Ron teamed up with a couple of other innovative companies and won a research contract with DARPA that ultimately launched Highlight Technologies, Inc. Highlight Technologies has been providing the laser and engraving industry with high quality engraving machines, products, and services since 1993 (Nearly 30-years of successful business operations).
Highlight Technologies is one of the leading laser distributors in the American Northwest. Highlight Technologies distributes Universal Laser Systems and a variety of other industrial laser systems including fiber galvo style laser systems. We also specialize in production laser services.
2000’s…As our laser user family grew, we found the need to offer software tools for fellow customers and all laser users around the world. The Laser Jump Start subsidiary was born and first developed template packages for a variety of laser created products that could be imported into CorelDraw Graphics Suite (main graphic program used in the laser industry) for processing on a CO2 laser system.
2010’s…Laser Jump Start expanded into developing macro programs for the CorelDraw Graphics Suite platform for laser users. Programs like the BoxIt Suite, FlexIt Suite, FrameIt Suite, NameIt Suite, ARTWelder, and WrapIt were developed and launched into the laser engraving/cutting community worldwide.
After receiving material requests from laser user customers, Laser Jump Start released a unique wood material line (manufactured in the U.S.A) sold around the country.
In 2019, Laser Jump Start released their third website revision designed for ease of use, mobile, and modern payment platforms.
2020…After over 15-years of having the same website and limited updating capabilities, Highlight Technologies, Inc. has released a new website platform designed for ease of use, mobile, and soon e-commerce capabilities. We are working on modernizing infrastructure and automation processes while entering a new decade and prepare for a growing future!
